Girvan is 2 miles away and provides access to a train station, restaurants, shops and leisure centre with swimming pool, soft play and gym. You could book a boat trip around Ailsa Craig or enjoy some fishing at the busy harbour.
Girvan also hosts a number of annual events including the Folk Festival in April, the Lowland Gathering in June and a half marathon in July.

The largest town, Ayr, is a 25 minute drive away and home to many Robert Burns attractions. Ayr Racecourse holds several meetings a year, including the prestigious Scottish Grand National and Ayr Gold Cup.

Located beside the A77 means that there are excellent road, rail and ferry transport links. The perfect place to stay the night if travelling to or from the ferry ports of Ardrossan and Cairnryan.
