Burnside Farm Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for visiting the many attractions that Ayrshire and the South West of Scotland has to offer.  From Culzean Castle and the Heads of Ayr Farm Park to Burns Cottage & Museum and the Ayrshire Coastal Path there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Girvan is 2 miles away and provides access to a train station, restaurants, shops and leisure centre with swimming pool, soft play and gym.  You could book a boat trip around Ailsa Craig or enjoy some fishing at the busy harbour. 

 

Girvan also hosts a number of annual events including the Folk Festival in April, the Lowland Gathering in June and a half marathon in July.

The largest town, Ayr, is a 25 minute drive away and home to many Robert Burns attractions.  Ayr Racecourse holds several meetings a year, including the prestigious Scottish Grand National and Ayr Gold Cup.

Located beside the A77 means that there are excellent road, rail and ferry transport links. The perfect place to stay the night if travelling to or from the ferry ports of Ardrossan and Cairnryan.
